Introducing Tam Truong

Tam Truong is the owner of A Better Solution In Home Care in Huntington Beach, California. Tam was born in Switzerland and grew up near Paris, France. Tam obtained her pharmacist degree in 2000 and an additional university diploma in orthotics and external prosthesis two years later in France. After obtaining her degrees, Tam worked for a pharmacy with over 20 employees for 5 years as the head of their orthopedic department. In 2005, Tam opened her own pharmacy in France where she built her business from the ground up. As the owner of a small business, Tam was responsible for a diversity of functions including, but not limited to, human resources management, purchasing, customer service and legal compliance.

Tam is very concerned with providing quality healthcare services and has always looked forward to providing the best services possible to her clients throughout her extensive healthcare career. Tam believes that great healthcare services require compassion, attention and communication skills. Tam strongly believes that listening to clients and families with an eye towards understanding their needs, desires, values and unique circumstances is key to establishing and maintaining an authentic and trusting relationship.

As a Pharmacist, Tam was passionate about providing assistance to patients during the healing process. Her priority was always to help patients by providing them with the best care and comfort possible. Tam became interested in opening a home care business to continue her mission of developing support for patients and families in need of assistance.

When asked what attracted her to the ABS brand, Tam stated, “I was impressed by ABS’s professionalism and experience in California. I think home care requires integrity, compassion, respect and communication, which are some of ABS’s core values. As we share many of the same values, it was clear that ABS was the best partner I could find to accomplish my mission.” Tam’s aspiration for her ABS location is to be known for reliability and for providing the highest quality of caregiving services possible in the Huntington Beach area.

Tam moved from France to Huntington Beach, California in 2018 where she currently lives with her husband, Antony, and 2 young sons, ages 6 and 9.
