Introducing Heather Hernani & Fernando Hernani
“We look forward to the opportunity to provide San Diego’s North County families with exceptional service and peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in good hands.”
Being a beacon of hope, a source of clarity, or even a listening ear, is a sacred duty that Heather feels blessed to be called to. As a Registered Nurse (RN) of 15+ years, her work has crossed several fields, including intensive care, emergency medicine, and trauma. On a professional and personal level, Heather has experienced first-hand the positive impact a caregiver can have on a patient and family during the most vulnerable or overwhelming time of their lives. Heather also has extensive experience beyond the bedside as a nursing school professor, patient educator, and critical care ambulance nurse. In 2006, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and, in 2010, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. Heather enjoys volunteering to make a difference in her community. As an empathetic caregiver, wife, and mother of two, caring for families is a never-ending passion, and Home Care has been a natural transition to continue this noble line of work.
Fernando is a Navy Special Operations Veteran of 20 years and a recent graduate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Born in Peru, he and his family immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area when he was 14 years old. Feeling called to service, in 1999, Fernando joined the Navy and was soon sent to his first duty station in San Diego. He immediately fell in love with the people, weather, and SoCal lifestyle of America’s Finest City. During his naval career, Fernando fulfilled different capacities but found his calling in Learning & Development while serving as Instructor & Mentor at SEAL training from 2013 to 2016. In his transition out of military life, Fernando is driven to continue serving the community at large.
Together, Fernando & Heather choose to pursue their lifetime of service, now with a more personal approach by bringing A Better Solution In Home Care to the San Diego North County area.
