Introducing The Uchil Family – Detroit

The Uchil family originally hails from India and have been living in the US since 2000 and in Michigan for the last decade. The Uchil family of 5 calls the Detroit Metro area home. Our beloved mother and grandmother’s story is a significant part of our journey into homecare and serving seniors in the Detroit Metro area. In addition to our A Better Solution In Home Care agency, we also operate a dental practice specializing in complex dental care for seniors, a business which we strongly feel contributes to the health and well-being of our community’s older adult population. As a family, we are dedicated to care and service, believing our ultimate purpose is to contribute meaningfully to our community and help to foster a wholesome environment for all.

Our homecare journey began with our mother and grandmother, who was diagnosed with dementia. As a family with demanding careers, we found it challenging to provide the care she needed. Our cultural values emphasize caring for our parents and seniors, especially during their most vulnerable years. Struggling to find a reliable caregiver, we realized the importance of a compassionate homecare service. This experience inspired us to start our own homecare business, aiming to offer a high level of responsive, customized and compassionate care to our community’s seniors, most of whom, like our mother and grandmother, want to continue living at home in a familiar environment.

The primary goal with our family’s A Better Solution In Home Care location is to establish an organization renowned for delivering the highest level of care to seniors in the Detroit Metro area. We aim to be recognized for our unwavering commitment to quality care and the positive impact we make in the lives of our clients and their families.
